Celia Riley played key roles in Republican campaigns and opposition research projects nationwide for most of a decade, including the 2010 Republican takeover of the U.S. House of Representatives. She has worked as a Senior Analyst for the National Republican Congressional Committee and managed a competitive intelligence team for the Freedom Partners' network of free-market organizations. Most of her clients these days are conservative, but she presents herself as "bureaucratically thoughtful."
Celia has combined her faith with a passion for running, leading peace and reconciliation teams from D.C.’s National Community Church to Israel and Palestine to run the Palestine Marathon in solidarity with the basic right to freedom of movement. Besides running, Celia says she loves connecting people to the Palestinian church, local peace makers and activists, interfaith dialogue, and exposing the reality of the occupation and its effects on the most vulnerable members of both Israeli and Palestinian societies.
