There's ministry, and there's The Ministry. We always knew that.

Now we're learning it again....

October 12, 2017—a Thursday—a network of peers, mentors and sages gather to tell stories, ask questions, and connect with others who are redeeming, reclaiming, and reframing the M word.

Brian Wardlaw studied Sociology and Spiritual Formation, and worked a decade as a Nazarene Youth Pastor.

When the Church of the Nazarene closed the Ballard house of worship, they asked if Brian would take responsibility for the facility. After a couple of years of restoration and listening to neighbors, the building reopened  as the Ballard Homestead, "to create neighborhood space to gather around the values of Faith, Family, the Arts, Environmental care and Justice."

Brian is the Curator for Ballard Homestead. He owns KBWSoccer Inc. and is head Boys Soccer Coach at Ballard High School and Shoreline Sports Club. He collaborates with Abbey Arts, who help with managing the space and finding partners who use it for the good of the neighborhood.
